American Cockroach


Looks like:

About 13mm long. Reddish-brown color with light markings on its back.

Where it lives:

Very hostile and not so shy. Prefers warmth, dampish areas. More visible in daytime and outdoors than other species. Commonly found all around the house.

Food:

Scavenger; eats almost anything.

Reproduction:

Mating only once, female can produce many egg capsules. Each capsule contains an about 13 eggs. Adult can live up to 15 months.
